New Department Programs

The department has two new programs. The first is an interdisciplinary B.S. in Forensic Science which is a joint effort between Criminology, Chemistry, and Biology. This program will prepare students for employment as crime scene investigators and to work in state crime labs

The second program is a M.A. in Criminal Justice which while housed in the department is a joint effort between the Department and the Department of Political Science, MPA program.


New Minor

The department is participating in a new interdisciplinary minor in Homeland Security and Disaster Preparedness. This minor is a joint effort between the Department, Nursing, Social Work, Political Science, and Radio-TV.
